It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The most magical season has arrived. For our children, the holidays are filled with joy and MAGIC! Winter Wellness Tips
Exercise. Being active is so important. All too often, we forget about the importance of exercise and moving our bodies — even more so during the winter months! We’ll use the excuse that “it’s too cold outside,” and miss that workout! While I don’t belong to a gym, there are plenty of exercises you can do in the comfort of your own home. The key is to keep yourself motivated, and be consistent!!
Stay hydrated. Often times when I’m just not feeling like myself, or more tired than I should be I ask myself, “Have I been drinking enough water today?” Let me tell you. The answer is always “no.” Keeping yourself hydrated is incredibly important for your health. Water is always the best choice for hydration. Keep caffeinated beverages at a minimum.

SLEEP!!! ::sigh:: I know, I know. This one may sound SO easy, but the truth is, most of us don’t get enough sleep! Sleep is vital for both your physical and mental well-being. We should aim for at least 8 hours per night. I prefer 10. Hey, a girl can dream!!
Maintain a healthy diet. Fuel your body with goodness. Putting good nutrients into your body will help you feel your very best. Try to aim for protein rich foods and fruits and veggies, and avoid sugary treats as often as possible.
