I have yet ANOTHER secret I’ve been keeping from you guys! Last week while I was in LA living it up with the stars, I was among one of the very first to see The Spongebob Movie Sponge on the Run Trailer! Previewing a trailer BEFORE it’s announced to the public is a very exciting thing. BUT, I have a small confession to make…I’ve NEVER been a fan of Spongebob. In fact, my children have NEVER seen a single episode! You might wonder why, and to be completely honest, the language used has always turned me away. I know the word “stupid” is used by the characters, and I just don’t find that necessary.
BUT, with that all being said, I was still pretty excited to be one of the very first people to see this trailer! Let’s take a look…
The Spongebob Movie Sponge on the Run Trailer Thoughts
So, now that I’ve seen this trailer, have my thoughts on Spongebob changed? Well. I’m still not sure. I can honestly say I enjoyed everything about this trailer. I love that it is done vibrantly in CGI. The storyline looks to be promising, with the theme of friendship. I am just crossing my fingers that the language is okay. PLUS…who can resist that Keanu Reeves cameo?! I mean, he is literally EVERYWHERE right now!
