OH my goodness, what a week! I feel like I always say that, but the busyness is REAL!! BUT, SUMMER IS HERE!!! So excited!! Lots of fun things planned!! In case you missed it, I created an Ultimate Summer Bucket List the other day — it includes a free printable, so grab yours now! Anyways. I wanted to take a break from the craziness of what is my household right now and give you all a quick Five on  Friday. So, let’s go!

Last weekend was Father’s Day. We had a wonderful weekend. We went out for dinner along with my parents, in-laws, and brother in-law and sister in-law. It was a great, relaxing time. It also gave me an excuse to dress my boys up a bit. Little cuties!

On actual Father’s Day, we visited some family members for a small gathering with yummy food and good conversation! Lincoln and Avery spent the afternoon swimming in their pool. Although the water was quite chilly, they didn’t seem to mind one bit!

I splurged on some adorable stuffed toys for my kiddos a few weeks ago. Have you heard of Cuddle & Kind? They offer ethically produced hand-knit dolls that help feed children. Each doll purchased provides 10 meals to children in need. Lincoln chose the Penguin and Avery chose the Fox.

I’m trying to teach my boys about kindness and the importance of giving back. When I explained to Lincoln how Cuddle & Kind worked, he was SO enthusiastic! I honestly believe he was more happy he helped to provide meals to children than he was to have his penguin. He actually brought his penguin to school for show-and-tell. He told me he wanted all of his classmates to get their own. Then, being the little mathematician he is, he figured out how many meals his class could provide if each child purchased one. I love that boy.

As you can see, both boys love their new stuffed friends. They cuddle them each night 🙂

Following up from my big post the other day — WE’RE MOVING!! Thank you for all of your kind comments and support. We are truly excited for this new adventure! The crew has been working hard. Here’s the latest picture of the progress happening…

And finally…HOW IS MY BABY FINISHED WITH FIRST GRADE?!?! Seriously you guys. Lincoln’s last day of first grade was today. I’ll have myself a big second grader in the fall! Be on the lookout for a post all about it next week!

Annnnnd that’s all I’ve got! Fun-filled weekend to kick off summer — Lincoln’s baseball picnic and hoping to finally catch Cars 3 at the drive-in!! What are your plans??

Cheers to the weekend!! xoxo

Cuddle & Kind is a great idea, and the kids do look so adorable with their little critters!
