I literally just returned from Disney at 1:30am and realize I’m one whole week late to this party, BUT…HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEWLY RELEASED DISNEY’S LIVE ACTION LION KING OFFICIAL TRAILER?! Yes. Caps and bold print are needed. So let’s say you haven’t seen the trailer yet. Let’s take a look, shall we?
DISNEY’S THE LION KING OFFICIAL TRAILER
Okay. Now do you know what I’m so excited about?! Why I’m screaming from the rooftops about how AMAZING this film will be?!
I recently went to see Disney’s latest live-action film, Dumbo, and was literally blown away by how lifelike the animals appeared. The CGI was absolutely brilliant. Dare I say The Lion King is going to be even better?
I know I’m not alone when saying the original Lion King is one of Disney’s greatest animated movies of all time. And I do know there’s a lot of controversy over this new era of reimagining animated films. But honestly? I cannot get enough! These movies bring me back to my childhood, and get to experience the magic of these remakes with my children. Of course my kids see the original versions, as well. But there’s something fresh and new with these live-action films.

Disney’s The Lion King Synopsis:
Disney’s “The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau (“The Jungle Book”), journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.
Staying true to the classic story, director Jon Favreau utilizes pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring the iconic characters to the big screen in a whole new way. Featuring the voices of Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon, Disney’s “The Lion King” opens in U.S. theaters on July 19, 2019.
And how perfect is this new poster?!

OMG!!!! HOW PRECIOUS IS THAT?!?! Did you know I have a dog named, Simba? Clearly I’m a Lion King fan!!
