Disney World Vacation – Epcot – February 2016

Today I’d like to tell you all about our time at Epcot! I’ve always loved this park, even as a child…and I am so happy that Lincoln loves it as much as he does. One of his favorite rides ever is Spaceship Earth. I am really limited with what rides I can go on, so I am very happy he appreciates these slow moving rides. It’s also an original ride from the park, and holds so much nostalgia. One of my favorite rides ever was Horizons. I’m still upset that one is no longer there.
Anyways, there’s always lots to see and do at Epcot. One of the first things we did was hit the Character Spot. This is a great way to meet some great characters all in one shot! Mickey, Goofy, and Minnie were there to greet us. They used to have Pluto and Donald as well, but I think got the boot.
Lincoln had a blast with Mickey. He was wearing his Sorcerer hat, and Mickey took it off his head to wear it! Lincoln thought this was hysterical. Then Mickey showed Lincoln how to use his “sorcerer powers.”
That is Disney magic! Avery was pretty skeptical of Mickey. He covered his eyes so he couldn’t see him.
While there was no way Avery was going near Goofy, he did warm up  to Minnie a bit. He even blew her a kiss when we were leaving.
Other favorite rides for the kids were Journey Into Imagination with Figment, a cute little ride…but I’m partial to the original. They also enjoyed The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Lincoln loved racing around Test Track. We also rode Spaceship Earth 3 times total, because Lincoln enjoys it so much. We also viewed the new Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival. It’s a fun 4D show that we all enjoyed.
While there aren’t nearly as many rides at Epcot, there’s still plenty to do…and absolutely a full-day park! My absolute favorite time to visit Epcot is at night. I love how Spaceship Earth looks lit up!
The World Showcase is great for all ages, and is a great way to talk a walk around the “world.” Everyone loves to eat in Epcot, because there are so many different varieties of food. We actually had two different dining reservations throughout our trip. One in Italy, at Via Napoli…where you can indulge on the yummiest margarita pizza EVER!! And another day we ate in the United Kingdom at Rose & Crown for some tasty fish and chips!
Like I said, Epcot is a great park to walk around and take in the sites. We fully took advantage of our PhotoPass, and hit up all the photographers we could find. We got some wonderful shots.
I love this photo I snapped of my three boys. Definitely a framer ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh what fun we had! Stay tuned for my vacation recaps from the other parks!
