Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

We all know Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is opening August 29th. However, did you know there is going to be a Star Wars themed resort connecting to Galaxy’s Edge? It’s been in the works for awhile now, but we just received more info, and Star Wars fans everywhere are going to be ready to book their journey to a galaxy far, far away.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will offer a two-night itinerary where all guests arrive and depart at the same time, similar to Disney Cruise Line. Guests will cruise the galaxy in style aboard theHalcyon, a starcruiser known throughout the galaxy for its impeccable service and exotic destinations. Onboard, they will stay in well-appointed cabins, experience onboard dining, make a planet-side excursion to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.

Buckle up, Star Wars fans. It’s going to be a wild ride!

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The first ever ride-through attraction starring Mickey and Minnie is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2020. Guests have been greatly anticipating this attraction for awhile, and it will be exciting to finally see it come to life!

Historic Transformation of Epcot

Epcot is undergoing a MAJOR transformation, and Disney fans are here for it! This is going to be the largest expansion in Disney Parks history! Epcot will be unified with four neighborhoods that each speak to important aspects of the world and its people: World Showcase, World Celebration, World Nature and World Discovery. Let’s take a look at what’s coming!

Mary Poppins Inspired Attraction

This just screams “practically perfect in every way!” The United Kingdom Pavilion will welcome the first attraction inspired by Mary Poppins. Guests will step in time down Cherry Tree Lane. The artwork for this concept looks exquisite!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Beginning in Summer 2020, guests can experience the highly anticipated attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! Located in the France Pavilion, guests will shrink to the size of Chef Remy and race through Gusteau’s restaurant on a wild adventure. I might be totally guilty of already viewing this ride on YouTube, as it’s currently located in Disneyland Paris! It looks super fun and family friendly!

HarmonioUS

Following the limited-time run of “Epcot Forever,” the new “HarmonioUS” will debut as the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park. “HarmonioUS” will feature massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers and more.

Beauty and The Beast Sing-Along

That’s right! The most beloved tale ever told is getting its very own Sing-Along! Also located in the France Pavilion, this will debut in January 2020!

Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana”

I love that the hit film, Moana is getting its own attraction. This lush exploration trail will invite guests to meet and play with magical, living water. The water will have a life of its own – just like Moana’s friend, the ocean – and guests will learn about the importance of the natural water cycle.

Spaceship Earth

Don’t worry. This iconic attraction isn’t going anywhere, however, it is getting revamped. New narration and an entirely new musical score will focus on the moments and ideas that define the story of humanity. Guests will follow a magical “story light” that brings the entire experience to life in dynamic ways, giving each scene energy and beauty that ties the entire journey together.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

The attraction will feature a new innovation from Walt Disney Imagineering – a storytelling coaster that rotates 360 degrees to focus guests on the action, including the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster.

Space 220

An expansion of the Mission: SPACE Pavilion will include the new restaurant Space 220. Guests will board a special elevator for a journey to a space station that is home to an incredible dining experience. Along the way, viewports will give guests real-time perspective as they travel high above the planet. Once they arrive, guests will enjoy fantastic meals and drinks while taking in views that are truly out of this world.

The PLAY! Pavilion

The PLAY! pavilion will open in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. In this digital metropolis, guests will discover an interactive city bursting with games, activities and experiences that connect them with friends, family and beloved Disney characters – both real and virtual – like never before. As part of this new pavilion, guests will have the chance to help legendary fashion icon Edna Mode on her quest to rid the world of uninspired style, or make a splash competing in a water-balloon fight hosted by Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby.

I am super intrigued by this concept and cannot wait to see how this all plays out!

 Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Lodge

Another new Disney hotel? YESSSS! Also? This it is proposed to be another Disney Vacation Club Resort, which makes this DVC Member incredibly happy! This new resort will be inspired from the wonders of nature and artistry of Walt Disney. The concept art is really beautiful.

Avengers Campus Coming to Disneyland

Guests can suit up alongside their favorite Super Heroes at the Avengers Campus, beginning in 2020 at Disney California Adventure park. Avengers Campus will feature the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature Spider-Man. The attraction will give guests a taste of what it’s like to have actual super powers as they sling webs to help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok.

One of the iconic buildings in California will be the Avengers Headquarters. The building will become the future entrance to a brand-new E-Ticket attraction where guests will fly alongside the Avengers in an epic adventure to Wakanda and beyond when it opens in the next phase of development.

Avengers Campus will feature Pym Test Kitchen where Pym Technologies is using the latest innovations to grow and shrink food.

Guests will also find heroic encounters throughout the campus, including Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Super Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man. Guests may even catch a glimpse of the Avengers along the rooftops of the Avengers Headquarters.

THIS IS A MARVEL FANS DREAM!!!

New “Magic Happens” Parade at Disneyland Park

Debuting in Spring 2020, the “Magic Happens” Parade will celebrate awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories. The parade will feature stunning floats, beautiful costumes, and beloved Disney characters from “Moana,” “Coco,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and more – all led by Mickey Mouse and his pals.

New Disney Cruise Line Ship

When it was first announced a couple of years ago that Disney Cruise Line was expanding its fleet, we were all eager for more details. Now I am here to tell you the name of the fifth Disney Cruise Line ship is…. Disney Wish. How fitting because making wishes come true is at the heart of so many Disney stories.Disney Cruise Line New Ship Disney Wish

The ship’s atrium will be a bright, airy and elegant space inspired by the beauty of an enchanted fairytale. It has been a tradition to adorn the back of their ships with an iconic character that reflects the theme of each vessel. For the Disney Wish, the ship’s stern will feature Rapunzel. Everyone’s favorite artsy princess, paintbrush in hand, uses her enchanted hair to suspend herself as she decorates the stern of the ship with the help of her feisty sidekick, Pascal. Spirited, smart, curious and above all, adventurous, Rapunzel embodies the wish and desire to see and experience the world. The Disney Wish is scheduled for delivery in late 2021 and will set sail in January 2022.

New Disney Cruise Line Private Island

Not only is Disney expanding its fleet of ships, a NEW private island is abound! If you’ve ever visited Disney’s current private Island, Castaway Cay, you know that it’s basically heaven on earth. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The new location is located on he breathtaking island of Eleuthera at a place called Lighthouse Point. The new destination will celebrate both the stories of The Bahamas and the natural environment of Lighthouse Point itself. Construction could begin in 2020 with completion in late 2022 or 2023.

You better believe I will be on the Disney Wish and visiting Lighthouse Point as soon as I can!

Lighthouse Point

Well? What do you think? Are you excited for ALL of this Disney magic that is abound?! What are you most looking forward to? It’s so hard to choose just one, HOWEVER, I am really excited for Epcot’s transformation. I think it’s going to be something unlike we’ve ever seen before. BUT hasn’t Disney said that before?! We’ll just have to wait and see!
