Umm, guys? A certain little boy is about to turn three years old. We just won’t be mentioning any names, ‘k?
I mean seriously. HOW is it even possible that my sweet boy is about to turn three years old?!?!
I just cannot even fathom the reality!
Despite my denial, it’s happening, and soon. Which of course means, it’s party planning time!
For whatever reason, I thought I would have tons of time to party plan when we got home from Florida. WHY I thought that, I have no idea, because it couldn’t be more far from the truth!
Lincoln’s birthday is the 23rd of November, however, that happens to be Black Friday this year, so we’re having his party the weekend before. Which just means even less time to plan!
Originally I was planning a “Planes, Trains, & Automobiles” theme. I started pinning stuff like crazy on Pinterest. Lots & lots of cute stuff.
And then?
I looked at my sweet boy playing with his new talking Bucky pirate ship. I pulled up a Jake and the Neverland Pirates invite on etsy. I showed it to Lincoln. His response??
“Mom-Mom, Hook! Jake! A bird!!”
I was sold. We are going to have a Jake & the Neverland Pirates birthday bash!
The invites have been all mailed out, and we’re just finalizing the final party preparations! Here is a little sneak peak of what’s to come…
Freaking adorable, right?!
I can’t wait to see my little boys face light up when the house is all decked out with decorations! He’s going to be so incredibly excited!
