A few weeks ago we ventured into New York City for the Biggest Night of Play…Sweet Suite 2018! Now I have been to this spectacular event put on by The Toy Insider many times, but this year was by far THE BEST! Want to know why? I’m sharing all of the very best highlights from Sweet Suite 2018!

We were greeted for a night full of PLAY at the gorgeous Pier Sixty in New York City. After we checked in, a fun balloon maze was waiting inside. This was, of course, a huge hit with the kids! Wait. Did I just say “kids?” YES! This year children were invited to Sweet Suite if they were part of your Blog or YouTube Channel!
Lincoln has been working hard developing his YouTube Channel, so he was simply thrilled to attend! His exuberant energy definitely added to the fun night ahead.
If you’ve ever been to Sweet Suite, you are well aware that you will be able to connect with the HOTTEST toy brands in the industry. Not only that, but you will see toys that are not even released yet! This is HUGE for any upcoming holiday gift guides.
As a blogger, I made sure my YouTuber son had all of the essentials for his first event…including his very own business cards! These were a HUGE hit with the brands!
For myself, it was great to connect with new brands, and reconnect with others I’ve worked with in the past. There were a few reps who remembered me from past events, and that was really cool! I love establishing lasting relationships with these companies. When they get to know me, I feel I can do a better job representing their product!

But, if I’m being honest, the BEST part of Sweet Suite 2018 was not about me and the connections I made. It was about watching my 8 year old shine.
Lincoln was in his element. He was a complete natural, and I was beaming with pride. From introducing himself to the brands, giving his very best elevator pitch, handing over his business card, and even mastering his firm handshake, he literally loved every second.
Lincoln is very much like his dad in many ways. But this right here. This is ALL me! I loved sharing this experience with my son. We made so many memories I will never forget. Seeing the sheer joy in his face during the Biggest Night of Play, is why Sweet Suite 2018 was the best one yet!
