I recently saw The Call of The Wild in theaters opening weekend. It’s based on Jack London’s literary classic. You can read my full review and thoughts on if it’s kid-friendly here. Harrison Ford plays the character of John Thornton in the movie, as well as the narrator. He tells us the story of the dog Buck, and how they essentially saved one another. Throughout the film he has some really great inspirational quotes. Of course I jotted them down, and I’m ready to share with you the best Call of the Wild movie quotes!
The Best Call of The Wild Movie Quotes
All of these quotes are from John Thornton (Harrison Ford). I hope you enjoy them.
“He was beaten. But he was not broken.”
“Doing the work of a sled dog brought Buck confidence and joy. Now he belonged to a pack.”
“The pack can only have one leader. Spitz has had enough.”
“I didn’t want to be around anyone. So I came up here and I met you.”
“This journey seems to be leading Buck to his destiny. or is it leading me?”
“The world’s a dangerous place. You never see what’s coming. You never know.”
“Now Buck has found his own kind. How far he has traveled to find his home. How far I have traveled to find mine.”
“You’re a good dog, Buck.”
“It’s okay boy, you’re home.”
“Now they live without fear, raise their young, and flourish.”
About The Call of The Wild
Adapted from the beloved literary classic, THE CALL OF THE WILD vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team–and later its leader–Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.
The Call of The Wild is now playing in theatres everywhere!!
