My family was recently invited to spend a magical day at Story Land, located in Glen, New Hampshire. I’ve been visiting Story Land since I was a little girl, so it’s a very nostalgic place for me. The last time we visited Story Land was 3 years ago, when Lincoln was only 3 years old! I was very excited for Avery to experience Story Land for his first time — I just knew he would love it!!
Story Land New Hampshire is such a fantastic amusement park for little ones. Everything is just their size! Story Land offers 21 attractions that are specifically designed for a unique shared experience between parent and child.
When you’re walking around Story Land, it’s like you stepped out of a page of a fairy tale. Everything is so whimsical and detailed.
It was super hot the day we visited. The boys were happy to ride Dr. Geyser’s Remarkable Raft Ride, Bamboo Chutes, and everyone’s favorite, Splash Battle.
The wetter the better! I am very limited with rides right now, but thankfully Story Land offers a few easy-going rides that could accommodate my wheelchair. This made for two very happy little boys who wanted to ride with their Mommy! I was pretty thankful that Splash Battle was one of those rides. It was so so HOT…I needed to cool off too!! Splash Battle is seriously the ultimate ride to get super wet! You board these boats and basically have a giant water gun. While the boat moves super slowly, you shoot water at the people outside the ride — but wait…the people outside also have their own water guns to get us wet! We were all soaked when it was finished. I could seriously ring out my shirt!! But it was certainly refreshing — and fun!!
After we got off Splash Battle, Lincoln and Avery wanted to try out the “other side” of the ride, where you shoot water at the people on the boats!
Avery was SO excited to go on his first ever water raft ride with his big brother and Daddy!! I was told he was squealing in excitement the entire time!!
The Polar Coaster was a huge hit for both boys! Jared actually was able to get this fun video of him and Lincoln on it….Avery and my mom are behind them, but you can’t really see them as well. However, Avery enjoyed it very much — I think we might have another thrill ride lover on our hands!
I asked Lincoln what his favorite part was about Story Land. He very quickly answered, “Splash Battle, because I could ride it with you, Mom!” He said his runner up was Bamboo Chutes, which he rode two times! My favorite part was spending such great quality time with my children making memories we will all cherish and remember for years to come.

This sounds like a fun place. We are hoping to take the Grandkids up when all this virus has calmed down. Thanks for your review, I know we will have a great time.
