I haven’t received a Stitch Fix in well over a year. There’s no reason really as to why, other than we’ve just been so incredibly busy. However, I have really missed it! So, I decided to schedule a fix! My Stitch Fix September Box was amazing!!
So, before I go on and tell you what was in my box, let me explain Stitch Fix to those who may not be familiar with it.
  • First you sign up for your first fix.
  • Then you fill out your style profile.  This helps the stylists select clothing that they think will suit you.   Don’t rush through this process!  Take your time so your stylist can really get to know your style!
  • Your stylist then chooses 5 items based on your profile.
  • You choose your price range.
  • The items are sent to your home (no shipping fees), and you then try them on. Keep what you like, send back (in the included pre-paid postage envelope) what you don’t want.
  • There is a $20 styling fee, however this can be used to purchase any of the items you are sent!
  • If you decide to keep all 5 items, you receive a 25% discount.
  • You then give feedback on your fix.  It’s extremely important to be very detailed for your futures fixes!

I’ve always wanted a personal stylist, haven’t you?!  That’s exactly what Stitch Fix is!

STITCH FIX SEPTEMBER 2016

Lots of stripes (my absolute fav!), and Fall colors were included in my September box!

Item #1 41Hawthorn Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater

41Hawthorn Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater Stitch Fix

You know the very best thing about this sweater? My stylist checked out My Style Board on Pinterest, and noticed I had this pinned in a different colorway. She immediately thought this was a great fit! While I did love the sweater, it was a little too baggy on me (sad face). This one is going back.

Item #2 Market & Spruce Marielle Knit Top

Here’s two things I’m loving right now. Stripes and the color mint. This shirt has both!! I also wish you could reach through your screen and feel this top because it’s SO SOFT!! Even though it is probably a tad too big on me, I’ll just throw a cami underneath. I am absolutely keeping this one!

Item #3 Renee C Cora Printed Maxi Skirt

I’m a huge fan of Maxi Skirts. Some of my first fixes included a maxi, that I happily added to my closet. However, this one unfortunately didn’t do it for me. I really didn’t care for the pattern. Back it goes.

Item #4 Le Lis Ginny Lace Detail Tank

Aren’t the colors in this tank beautiful? I love the lace detail. I actually pinned this tank in a different colorway on my Pinterest board. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am that my stylist really took the time to get to know my style! Anyways. I was a bit disappointed because it was sadly too big. I REALLY tried to make it work, but it just didn’t. Boo.

Item #5 Market & Spruce Sam Hi-Lo Short Sleeve Tee

Market & Spruce Sam Hi-Lo Short Sleeve Tee Stitch Fix
Honestly. I love everything about this tee. The color (yay for gray!!), the fit (perfect
!), the material (soooo soft you guys). That being said, I couldn’t justify the $44 price tag. I just couldn’t spend almost $50 for a tee shirt. Couldn’t do it. Nope. So as much as I did like this top, I had to send it back.
Overall, I kept one item. I consider a Fix successful if you find at least one item you love — primarily because your $20 styling fee goes towards the price. You’re almost silly to not keep one item!
What did you like in my September Stitch Fix Box? Did you receive a fix this month? If you blogged about it, please feel free to comment with your link. I love checking out other fixes — it gives me ideas for what to request in mine!!
