Stitch Fix December 2017

Although I haven’t blogged about Stitch Fix in a whole year, I still do receive fixes every so often. If I have a special occasion coming up, or even just want to spoil myself a bit, I find myself turning to Stitch Fix. So, with the holidays and change of seasons, I figured now was the perfect time to schedule a fix! I was delighted when I peeked at everything that was included in my Stitch Fix December box.

• First you sign up for your first fix.
• Then you fill out your style profile.  This helps the stylists select clothing that they think will suit you.   Don’t rush through this process!  Take your time so your stylist can really get to know your style!
• Your stylist then chooses 5 items based on your profile.
• You choose your price range.
• The items are sent to your home (no shipping fees), and you then try them on. Keep what you like, send back (in the included pre-paid postage envelope) what you don’t want. You can even exchange an item for another size if it’s not the right fit!
• There is usually a $20 styling fee, HOWEVER, it can be used towards your purchase.
• If you decide to keep all 5 items, you receive a 25% discount.
• You then give feedback on your fix.  It’s extremely important to be very detailed for your futures fixes!

My stylist really did her homework. She checked my style board on Pinterest, and looked at what I had pinned. I appreciated that SO much, because this fix REALLY delivered!! Whenever that happens, I am initially giddy with excitement, and then I fear for my wallet. HA!

LAJU Omaha Two Pocket Top

Buffalo plaid check is SO in this season! And this top? OMG SOOOO SOFT!! Like I wanted to cuddle up with it soft. The fit was perfect on me, and I loved it….however, I literally have a top that looks identical to this one hanging in my closet. The only difference, is mine is not as soft. It pained me to have to send this back.

Verdict: Return

41 Hawthorn Chaplin Essentials Lined Hooded Anorak Jacket

This jacket is EVERYTHING!!! Don’t you agree? I love the color and style. It’s perfect for the changing seasons. The price was a little more steep than I’d like ($94), but the quality makes it worth it. It’s incredibly versatile, and I could see using it for many occasions. There was one small problem. Okay, maybe big problem. When I zipped it up, it was a bit too tight in my ::ahem:: chest area. I’m not sure if sizing up would help, because it fit me right everywhere else.

Verdict: Return

Cosmic Blue Love Adrianne Distressed Boyfriend Jeans

I was excited to see a pair of jeans in my fix, because I actually could really use a new, good quality pair. While these jeans were quite lovely, I don’t see myself wearing them until possibly the springtime. It’s already quite cold here in the New England area, and the distressing on the jeans doesn’t fit the season.

Verdict: Return

LOVEAPPELLA Finley Ruffle Sleeve Knit Top

This one probably the one top I was iffy about when I initially spotted it. I’m not quite sure why I felt intimidated by it though, because the second I tried it on it was love! This beautiful top fit me AMAZINGLY well! I love the 3/4 bell sleeves, and the feminine floral pattern. The v-neck will look great with the perfect necklace. I love that this top can be worn as either casual, or dressed up!

Verict: KEPT!

Renee C Jerri Polka Dot Pullover Sweater

This is the one piece I kept going back-and-forth with. It’s such a beautiful sweater, and it fit me like a glove! I will probably regret it, but I chose to send it back. It was mostly because of the price ($64). If it was a little bit less, I might have chose to keep it. As much as I did like the sweater, I really could not justify the price.

Verdict: Return

While I only chose to keep one item, I still consider this fix a huge hit! My stylist really looked at my personal style, and delivered! I cannot wait to wear my new top, AND schedule my next fix!
