Simon Pegg Interview on Working with John Lasseter
“It was really the pedigree of one of the branches of Pixar being involved. I think that’s reflected in the visuals. The great thing about the Pixar films, is that they were always much more than a story. There was a lot of depth to them, there was a lot of meaning. There wasn’t just visuals, there was a human story involved in it. Genuine life lessons about friendship and love, and more things that were the signature of Pixar. I think that’s comparable to what Skydance Animation has, which is a good thing.”
