Recently, one of my readers requested to see some pictures from our wedding day. I honestly cannot believe I haven’t shared this day with you already! Consider yourself forewarned…this post is going to be BURSTING out the seams with photos ๐
Our wedding day was May 20th, 2007. We chose that date, specifically, because my Grandmother would be celebrating her 80th birthday. My grandmother passed away, when I was 12 years old. When we were looking at the calendar for possible wedding dates, I immediately knew our day was May 20th, when I saw it was on a Sunday ๐
Here I am, on our special day…
And, here is my dashing groom…
Me with my beautiful dog, Lacey

My 3 adorable flower girls

I surprised Jared with a horse & carriage. He had no idea, until I arrived. Here I am with my Mom, Dad, & brother.

Just me…

Me with my beautiful Matron of Honor

Here we come!!!

Walking down the aisle. I did something totally different, and original, if I do say so myself. I had my Mom, Dad, and brother walk me down the aisle. I felt like my brother needed to be included as well ๐

Hugging my Mom & Dad

& my baby bro [he’s 6’3″, I’m 4’11”, ha!] ๐

We had a beautiful day. I wish I could relive it again, and again. It seems amazing that we’ll be married for 4 years in just one month. I hope you enjoyed my wedding photos, tomorrow I’ll post some pictures from our honeymoon ๐

I love that your family walked you down the aisle – Weddings should be all about reflecting YOU, not just following what our culture says to do… I love seeing things like this!
