Well. I can hardly believe it. My sweet Lincoln is finished with preschool!! He has grown and matured so much — especially these past few months. And, I am just so incredibly proud of him. Giving him that extra year in preschool, was the best decision we could have made. We had his end of the year meeting, and I found myself tearing up! All his teachers were saying such wonderful things about my son. With everything that has gone on in our lives recently, it really just hit me. I am so blessed to have this boy as my son. I am so appreciative that he is still in my life after the accident. And, I am so thankful that I am still alive.
We had his ‘last day of preschool’ photo shoot the other day. I cannot believe I will have a Kindergartner in the fall!!
We also started a new tradition. I purchased the book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go,” and asked his teachers to write him a special message inside. I’m hoping to continue this, and have his teachers sign this book throughout his school years.
There were many sweet messages, but my two favorites were from his speech therapist and his classroom teacher. These two women really love my little boy. They have helped him grow. I will forever be appreciative of them.
And because I love comparison photos…here’s Lincoln on his first and his last day of preschool.
This boy is going to move mountains. I’m so glad I’m his Momma.
