Lincoln’s 12 Month Stats

It just occurred to me that I haven’t told you all Lincoln’s 12 month stats! Needless to say, I’ve been beyond busy. I am ready for it to be February…that’s when Jared graduates from the Academy. That day cannot come soon enough. I miss my husband. I’m ready to have my family back.

But anyways, enough with that..this post is supposed to be about my sweet boy and his ::gasp:: one year appointment with his pediatrician! He is still measuring in the 90th percentiles for everything. He weighs 26 lbs 7 1/2 ounces, and he’s 31 inches tall.

Umm…and did I mention Lincoln is WALKING?! Like everywhere. He’s a walking pro. He started taking a few steps a couple days before his first birthday, but on his actual birthday, he was practically full on walking! He still likes to walk on his knees as well, which is really hysterical!

He is constantly babbling all the time! It looks like I’m going to have a chatterbox on my hands 🙂 He [finally] says “dada!” He says it ALL THE TIME! Jared melted when he finally heard him say it! He’s been saying “mama” for a while now…we’ve just been waiting for that “dada!”

Lincoln also blows kisses! Sooooo adorable let me tell you 🙂 ….AND, get ready for this…he says BALLOON!!!! It doesn’t exactly come out sounding like “balloon,” but it’s totally what he’s saying 🙂 Cutest thing EVER! He is really communicating more and more each day. He points to literally everything, and wants it. It’s amazing watching him grow!

Gahhh, aren’t they precious?! Oh, and he totally put his head inside of the “O” on his own…such a little comedian 🙂

I feel like a complete blog slacker lately, and really really hope to be back to full-on blogging soon. However, it is SO hard right now with Jared away, so bare with me 🙂
