Yesterday I started my 27th week of pregnancy, also known as the beginning of my third trimester! I am very excited that this pregnancy is flying on by, I really cannot wait until November to meet my little boy! This past Saturday was also my first baby shower! My mom hosted the event for my family and friends in Rhode Island. It turned out absolutely perfect, and little Lincoln made out VERY well! We got more things than I ever could have imagined, and I still have another shower here in Connecticut at the end of September! The majority of our big items were all purchased, I really cannot believe it! I will post some pictures as soon as I get some, the ones taken with my camera came out blurry because I had it on the wrong setting 🙁 …..but, there were plenty of cameras going around so I am sure I will end up with some nice shots!
Next week I have two very important appointments, both on the same day. The first is my oh-so-wonderful glucose test for gestational diabetes that I have been looking forward to since I got that positive test…blah, not so much! Then I will have my regular appointment with my ob to check on baby Lincoln. Followed by that, I have an appointment with my endocrinologist to check my thyroid levels and all that good stuff. Should be an eventful day for sure!
And, did I mention we will be FINALLY moving into our new house within the next few weeks?! I am beyond excited about this! Everything is falling into place 🙂
Yay!!! I need to plan another trip soon then to help you get things moved in!! 🙂
