Halloween 2013

Halloween was seriously a blast this year.  Thankfully, unlike the previous TWO years, we didn’t have any weather interferences that cancelled the festivities. 
Lincoln is also at a super fun age, and really understood the whole concept of Halloween this year — which made it all the more fun!
Lincoln was able to participate in THREE different Halloween events this year. His first was a festival at his school, followed by a “trunk-or-treat.” I’ve never actually done a trunk-or-treat before, but what a great idea!  There were a bunch of cars in the schools parking lot, and all their trunks were decked out with Halloween decorations.  Some more elaborate than others, but they were all handing out candy!!!

Oh yes, the Batman fascination has begun!  Daddy even got dressed up to match his boy 🙂

We also went trick-or-treating at a local shopping mall nearby, which we have been going to yearly.  It’s a great night, you bring a canned good, and then go walk around the shops trick-or-treating! 

And of course, we did our regular trick-or-treating on Halloween night, as well.   Batman made out quite well in the candy department.  He’s also been sweet enough to share his loot with Mommy and Daddy. 

Although we didn’t get the chance to go to a pumpkin patch this year, we still managed to get a few pumpkins — and Jared even carved a special Batman pumpkin with Lincoln 🙂

I really think he liked his Batman pumpkin, because he even took it for a drive!

Now, because Lincoln sort of had Halloween three times, he’s saying it’s Halloween again in two weeks!  I guess you can say he enjoyed himself!!
