This summer has been….interesting, to say the least. We’re trying our best to get creative with fun things to do with our kids. We usually take at least one vacation during the summertime. This year, thanks to COVID, we’re sticking close to home.
One activity we’ve been actively participating in as a family is Pokemon Go! Never in a million years did I think I’d be playing a game on my phone with my children. But here we are. And you know what? We’re having a blast!
I think Pokemon Go is the perfect quarantine activity. It’s super safe. We literally hop in the car and drive to various locations. Sometimes we jump out of the car and walk around, but only if no one else is nearby. And my favorite part? We’re bonding as a family! My boys are having a blast, and the genuine smiles on their faces make it worth every second!
These are the moments they’ll remember.
