Well, hello there. You might notice these sort of posts have been few and far between. That’s only because we’re busy, busy, busy doing ALL OF THE SUMMER THINGS! Honestly, this summer has been non-stop. Between attempting to finish everything (still) with our house, traveling, and spending time with those we love most, we’ve had our plates full! Not to mention that Lincoln didn’t get out of school until June 26th (thanks to all of the snow days), and he already goes back at the end of this month. Honestly? I feel like summer hasn’t even started, and I’m a bit bummed it’s almost over. Thankfully, next week we’re headed to our favorite place in the world (betcha can’t guess where that is). I’m looking forward to capping off our summer at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
We’re headed to Walt Disney World for another Multi-Generational Vacation! This time we’re bringing along my mother in-law — and really, I’m pretty excited about that! She hasn’t been since my husband was FIVE YEARS OLD!! He’s almost 36 now, so I’ll let you do the math. I am looking forward to her experiencing the MAGIC with her grandchildren.
And with all of that, let’s get started with Five Faves Friday!!

Like I said, we did a bit of traveling this summer…as usual. We visited Santa’s Village located in New Hampshire with my BFF and her family. We were there 2 years ago, but it was nice to go back with Lincoln and Avery being a bit older. Also, my BFF has twin boys, so it was fun for our kids to hang out.

We also visited one of my favorite zoos! Southwick Zoo is so, so fun. I haven’t been there in about 15 years! One of my favorite areas of the zoo is the deer forest. You can hand feed deer right on the trail. My boys really enjoyed that. We also took a ride on the Skyride to get an overhead look of some of the animals.

Lincoln participated in not one, but two different camps. The first was tennis camp. Now, he’s never played tennis ever, but he gave it his all and really enjoyed himself. He ended up winning the award for “Fantastic Footwork.” The following week he participated in a STEAM camp. He’s already decided he wants to do both camps again next year!

You all know I cannot resist snapping sleeping photos of my boys! Here are a few of my recent favorites.
And then there’s this one we’re they’re just snuggled up watching a movie. ALLLLL THE HEART EYES!!!

I’m slowly but surely decorating our new home. I don’t want to rush it, and I’m really taking the time to find the perfect pieces. I have ideas for gallery walls (follow my board on Pinterest), and I’m in the works of planning my dream office space. And speaking of finding the perfect pieces, I recently purchased my first ever Rae Dunn piece, and I really don’t think it could be more perfect.
A simple “Be Kind” coffee mug for my coffee bar. Spreading kindness and teaching my children to simply “Be Kind,” is so important to me. I thought this piece was much needed and represented something that is all too important.
Cheers to the weekend, friends!! xoxo

I bet the zoo with the kiddos was so much fun. I love zoos.
Also decorating can be so much fun too but frustrating because you are always looking for that “perfect piece”.
