Welllll, hello there! I’ve been basically on a 2 week hiatus because WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW HOUSE — and we were also without internet for TWO WHOLE WEEKS — AKA: #BloggersWorstNightmare
It seems like we were just talking about building our dream home, and here I am….typing in my new home.
While yes, we are living in our new house, it is still FAR from being completed — and there’s a few issues we need to work out. We are opting to do the closets ourselves to save a fortune…because our quote to have them done was about the cost of a new car. I wish I was joking. Le sigh. The joy of home ownership!
BUT, despite all of the hurdles we still have to cross, I am keeping this all positive. I know everything will fall into place. So with that…let’s jump into it!

Home Sweet Home. Please excuse my messy kitchen in this photo. This was taken our first official night inside of our new home. My two sweet boys during dinner time. They are so happy to finally be HOME.

We’re slowly but surely purchasing new furniture for our new home. I’m loving our gorgeous new sectional. It’s super comfy, and I love all of the pillows!
Also, our new dining room table fills our space perfectly! It’s going to take some time to fill this house!!

So far one of Lincoln and Avery’s favorite things about our new house is my bathtub! They are pretty much obsessed with the jets, and love how the tub fills with bubbles from the teeniest bit of soap!
BUT…I’m sure they will have a new favorite when our pool is (finally) finished.

Literally the week we moved in, Avery had a ruptured ear drum. Seriously. Isn’t that how it always works? Anyways, he had his 2 week recheck this week, and he’s back to his silly self! Here he is waiting for the doctor to come check him out. Clearly bored…

With the craziness of moving, and everything else life throws our way…our sweet Belle describes how we all feel at the end of the day….EXHAUSTED!!
