Looking for a scrumptious Chocolate Strawberry Banana Smoothie recipe? I’v got you covered! This post is sponsored by Nestle. All opinions are my own.

Although we’ve had a fairly mild winter so far, it looks like we could be in for a big snow storm this weekend. Oh the joys of living in New England! While I think snow is beautiful, I’m pretty much done with it once we have our first decent snowfall. I can’t help it. I love the warmth of the sunshine! I would be totally okay living down south during the wintertime. I think the thing that bothers me most during the frigid cold, is that we all get cabin fever! It’s never fun to be stuck inside the house for long.

While my oldest loves his share of video games, I am always looking for new ways to encourage imaginative play. I like to keep that those wheels turning in that little mind! And you know what? Once we get started, he doesn’t stop! I know I’m 100% biased, but my Lincoln has one heck of an imagination!

Treasure hunts are one of his favorite imaginative activities. He loves to hide a particular object (usually a small treasure chest filled with coins), somewhere in the house. He then will draw a map in great detail to the treasure!
Lately he’s been all about the Back to the Future movies. So of course now he plays “Back to the Future!” And in case you’re wondering…he’s always Doc!
After some time playing, it’s always great to take a break with a nutritious snack. Lately, my kids have been loving this delicious Chocolate Covered Strawberry Banana Smoothie with Nesquik Chocolate Powder.

CHOCOLATE COVERED BANANA SMOOTHIE RECIPE

I’m a big fan of having the kids help with making their snacks. I always find they’re more likely to eat whatever it is, if they made it! This recipe is super simple. Here’s what you’ll need:
— 2 cups of milk
— 1 cup of frozen strawberry and banana slices
— 4 tablespoons of Nesquik Chocolate Powder
First you dump the strawberry and banana slices into your blender.
Next, pour in the milk.
And finally, add the 4 Tbsp of Nesquik Chocolate Powder.

Now it’s time to blend, blend, blend! Don’t forget to put the lid on the blender — I know from experience what a mess that makes!!

Both of my taste testers loved their smoothies! Lincoln’s been a smoothie lover for a few years now, but this was actually Avery’s first one!
Despite his skeptical look, I think it’s safe to say he was a fan!
With 7 essential vitamins and minerals including Vitamin B, Iron, and Vitamin C, Nesquik allows me to give my kids a nourishing snack they enjoy. Nesquik powder also has 45% less sugar than the leading syrup brand and with no artificial colors or flavors. It’s irresistibly delicious and nutritious chocolate milk that as a parent, I can feel good about!

The kids are happy, and this mom is happy! Nesquik is a hit for the whole family! You can keep updated with Nesquik by visiting them on Facebook and Pinterest.

What is your favorite smoothie recipe? Have you tried Nesquik in your smoothies?
