There are so many milestones in a child’s life. As parents, each one we celebrate proudly. Looking back, here are a few of my favorites of my boys:
Lincoln’s first Christmas.
Avery’s first Christmas.
Lincoln’s first time eating solid food.
Avery’s first time eating solid food.
Lincoln’s first birthday.
My boys meeting for the first time.
While most of the milestones we celebrate are pretty big, it’s also important to celebrate the mini-milestones in our children’s lives!
For example, the other day I received an email from Lincoln’s speech therapist. She wanted to tell me how great Lincoln has been doing, and how hard he is working. He is making tremendous progress, and she is just so proud of him!
Things like that parents always want to hear. Jared and I were so proud of our boy. We decided to surprise him with a visit to the newly renovated Disney Store nearby. Lincoln has been asking for a Captain Hook costume for Halloween. We figured this would be the perfect opportunity to get it for him!
There’s my little cranky crook ๐ I promise I will be taking lots more photos on Halloween. We just wanted to make sure we bought the right size while at the store!!
And our little Avery? Well he’s going to be Tick Tock Croc for his FIRST Halloween! How appropriate, right?!
And here’s a little flashback to Lincoln’s first Halloween. Isn’t he the cutest little giraffe?!
