If you’ve ever been to Epcot, then you know just how magical this theme park can be! Epcot is probably most known for it’s amazing World Showcase full of rides, delicious eats, and even character meet and greet opportunities. Here are some of the best Epcot World Showcase secrets that you should know!
The Best Epcot World Showcase Secrets
Hidden Mickeys can be found in Epcot’s World Showcase!
If you enjoy hunting for hidden Mickeys around the parks, here’s some you can find in the World Showcase (don’t worry, we didn’t spoil exactly where you’ll find them):
- Volcano in Mexico
- Totem Pole in Canada
- Statue of Liberty Torch in America
- Sportsman Shoppe in United Kingdom
- Ornamental Garden in France
- Train Set in Germany
- Tutto Italia Ristorante in Italy
- Mural in Morocco
- Courtyard Pillars in China
- Yakitori House in Japan
Enjoy an “Outdoor” Dinner at San Angel Inn
If you are looking for a sit-down meal, I highly recommend heading over to San Angel Inn inside the Mexico pyramid. The starry sky effect is a great view, and you can have an outdoor dinner even if it’s raining! Not to mention all the chips and salsa you can eat — YUM!!
Check out the Totem Poles in Canada
There are three totem poles in the Canada pavilion but only one of them is real! The rest is made of fiberglass!
You can View the American Flag from 9/11
This flag was found in the rubble at 9/11 and is now on display in the America pavilion.
Frozen Ever After is the only World Showcase Ride to Have a FastPass
Did you know that the Frozen Ever After ride in Norway, is the only attraction in the World Showcase to have a FastPass? The line for this ride can be quite long, so trust me, this is an amazing thing, and definitely something to take advantage of…especially if you have little ones!
Head to Norway on your Birthday
If it’s your birthday, make sure to grab a celebratory button! If you visit the bakery in Norway, you can get Anna’s birthday cupcake which is special to guests on their birthday! While this isn’t always guaranteed, it does happen often!
Check out the British Gardens in the United Kingdom Pavilion
The plants that you’ll find in the British Gardens are designed to attract butterflies! These butterflies are protected here and can thrive in a natural environment.
Visit the Eiffel Tower in the France Pavilion
You’ll find a scale model of the Eiffel Tower in the France Pavilion, but it is only 1/10 of the size of the real Eiffel tower in Paris. It does make for a great photo opp though, so make sure you check it out!
Check out the Red Buttons in Italy
You’ll find red buttons that are just behind the shops. These buttons will say “Press for a surprise.” I won’t spoil it for you, but let’s just say you may get a little wet!
Morocco is the Only Country to Receive Funding from Morocco
Out of all the World Showcase countries, only Morocco actually received funding from the country itself!
Visit Mulan in China
Mulan is a hard character to find, so don’t miss out on your chance to visit her while you’re in the China pavilion!
I hope this post has given you some insight into the Epcot World Showcase secrets, and even given you more ideas for how to enhance your experience!

I love the World Showcase! It’s been several years since I’ve been, though – I need to go back now that they have the Frozen ride in the Norway pavilion!
I haven’t been to Epcot in around 30 years but have a toddler now and another baby do next month. So maybe in another 2 years or so. Looks like fun!
This was a fantastic post. While I’ve been to Disney World over a dozen times (and we now live in Florida), I tend to skip out on Epcot. When we head back for the Star Wars opening later this year, I set aside an entire day for Epcot and will be looking for some of these hidden gems. Thanks so much for sharing!
This looks like so much fun! I’ve never been to Disney and I can’t wait to go one day!
I have been to Epcot many times and had no idea there were “hidden Mickey’s”. My family and I hope to return in the next year or two and love scavenger units so definitely will remember this.
I still need to visit Epcot one of these days. It was cool that at my college, SCAD, we had a miniature Epcot theater. Made me want to visit the real one even more.
This sounds like a blast, loved the pics! I have never been to Florida, let alone Epcot or Disney, I would love to visit this park! I am all about that Canada Section..since I am Canadian!
