On Sunday, we celebrated Avery’s christening. It was a beautiful ceremony, and it was great to share with our family. Avery wore the same outfit his big brother, Lincoln wore 4 years ago. He was just as precious as can be. The christening outfit is what my brother wore for his baptism, 29 years ago. I love that my mom kept it in pristine condition all these years.
Avery slept throughout the entire ceremony. Which was pretty perfect.
Mr. Avery has three Godparents. Special boy. Jared has two brothers, and he didn’t want to choose between the two. This is our last child, so we decided Avery will have two Godfather’s. His Godmother is our sister in-law. They were all so happy to be included in Avery’s special day.
Lincoln was so incredibly amazing during the ceremony. We don’t regularly go to church, so I wasn’t sure how he was going to do, but he was great. He especially loved the music and singing…and Haylee. My brother’s girlfriends little girl. He loves her too 🙂
We celebrated afterwards with a yummy cake and cupcakes, made by the same woman who made our wedding cake.
Lincoln was a fan of the cupcakes. Naturally.
All the kids ran around like crazy, which was fun to watch.

We had a great day. I cannot believe I didn’t get a photo of the four of us! I think we were just all running in different directions, but I wish we got at least one!
