I realized I haven’t updated you all on how my Dad’s recovering from his liver transplant since he was being a royal pain in the butt, to put it nicely.
Well, I am happy to report that my Dad has been making fantastic progress with his recovery! He is even driving again. He hasn’t drove in 2 years!!
His new liver is functioning perfectly, and he is getting stronger every day. He cannot come home from Florida until about 6 months or so post surgery, so we’re looking at September-ish or so.
I am so incredibly thankful that my Dad is back, and that Lincoln can finally have his Grandpa.
My mom, Lincoln, and I are going there today for a week to visit. I cannot wait to see him! He is looking forward to really playing with Lincoln, rather than just being able to watch him play.
Unfortunately, we also have to tell my Dad about his dog Brady while we are there. That is going to be awful. I still cannot fathom that he’s gone. I just hope my Dad doesn’t slip into a depression and go downhill, because I know how possible that is.
I am planning on a few scheduled posts while I am away….and I might even attempt to blog on my mobile app!
