Oh Magic Kingdom, how you have my heart. No matter how many times you do it, there is nothing like walking through the gates and onto Main Street USA, getting that first glimpse of the castle. It is incredible. It is breathtaking. It is magical. It is always the first park we visit on our vacation. We actually spent 3 days at Magic Kingdom this trip — and we still didn’t do it all!! There is always something new to see and do at the Magic Kingdom. It is really the heart of Disney.
We took in the beautiful sites, and rode lots of rides…well, Lincoln and Daddy did; there’s quite a few rides I have to avoid. Jared and I rode Dumbo together!! Here’s a little tip for you…don’t use one of your Fast Passes on Dumbo. Instead, “check-in” and use their fun indoor play area for the kids! When it’s your time to ride, they will let you know! Both Lincoln and Avery loved the indoor play area!

While at the Magic Kingdom, one thing we have to do, is get a Dole Whip. If you’ve never had one, make sure you grab one! You will not be disappointed!!

I love that my parents were able to join us on this vacation. My boys absolutely adore their Grammy and Grandpa.

We actually got Avery’s first haircut on our last day at Magic Kingdom! We were able to walk right into Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street USA and get right in! I will be posting separately about our experience, but it was totally worthwhile!

Lincoln is an adrenaline junkie when it comes to fast rides. He went on Space Mountain for the first time, and LOVED it!! He came running up to me after the ride so excited!

But…as much as he loves those fast rides, he still wasn’t a fan of the Haunted Mansion. he was a trooper though, and went on it twice with me!

As beautiful as the castle is during the day, I personally think it’s ten times as beautiful at night. I could just look at it forever.

We opted to not stay at the park for fireworks. Avery really hates the noise, so it’s not worth it to upset him. However, we did watch them every night from our hotel room. We didn’t have to worry about the noise, or the crazy crowds. Even the same music was playing on our TV. It was perfect. No. It was magical.

Ending each day watching the fireworks with my family, was so incredible. Seeing Lincoln and Avery burst with excitement and “ooooohing and ahhhhing.” That right there is magic.

Stay tuned for my recaps of the other three parks!
