SUMMERTIME IS HERE!!! Who else just LOVES the summer? I live for the sunshine. The warmth on my skin, and the warm breeze. There’s nothing like soaking up some Vitamin D! You want to know another reason I enjoy the summer? TRAVEL!!! Okay, okay. So yes, I do travel quite a bit year round. HOWEVER, it always seems like during the summer we kick it up a notch. This summer we already have THREE different vacations booked! Two of those being road trips, and the other one we’re flying. Because we’re literally always on the go, I’ve come across some must have travel essentials that I never leave home without.

While I might have quite the lengthy list of necessities to bring along when I travel, here are 5 travel essentials I cannot live without.
Snacks
I seriously don’t ever leave my house for errands without snacks, never mind when I’m traveling! While you can certainly purchase snacks during your travels, I always like to have some on hand. Some of my personal favorites are granola bars, applesauce pouches, string cheese, clementines, peanut butter crackers, and almonds. You can also make your own trail mix and put it into a baggie! That’s always a yummy treat!!
Reusable Water Bottle
While it’s all too convenient to grab bottled water, bringing along your own water bottle is more friendly for the environment. Also? It’s easy to refill during your adventures!
Comfy Hoodie
Let’s face it. The weather is consistently unpredictable. I always bring along one of my favorite hoodies. When you’re traveling, you never know what the temperature will be. When you’re going in and out of air conditioned buildings, a hoodie is especially handy. Sometimes it’s even needed to throw on in the middle of the night in a hotel room!
Sunglasses
Who else HAS to travel with their sunnies? I’m also completely guilty of purchasing a new pair while I’m on vacation. No shame in my game!
