5 Favorites at Santa’s Village For Families

My family has been visiting Santa’s Village for years. I remember my very first visit when I was a little girl. Now it’s so fun to relive the experience through my own children. Located in Jefferson, New Hampshire, Santa’s Village is a Christmas-themed amusement park. Christmas all day everyday?! It’s basically a kids dream! Here are 5 of our favorites (besides visiting with Santa!) that will appeal to families.

1. Elf University

Who doesn’t love a good scavenger hunt?! Your first stop at Santa’s Village should be at Elf University. Here is where you will pick up your Elfabet Card with all the letters of the “Elfabet” on it.

Ready to play the “Elfabet Game?” Hidden throughout the park are 26 Elves. Simply slide your Elfabet Card into the slot at each Elf to punch out the letter. It’s so fun to see the excitement your kids will get out of spotting the elves throughout the park!

Avery is all serious business collecting his first Elfabet punch of the day!

At the end of the day when you have found all of the elves, turn your punched card in at Elf University for a special prize! It’s a wonderful way to bond with your kids and have some FUN!

2. Yule Log Flume

We all know kids love a good flume ride! They also love any chance their parents have at getting soaked!! If you have younger children, this is a great first time flume ride. While there is a steep drop, it is probably more tame than most.

My kids and their cousins rode the Yule Log Flume FOUR times in a row! I do not even know how they got so lucky. It was a hot day, and the line wasn’t too long at all. They had so much fun. My son and niece were tall enough to ride just the two of them. They thought that was just about the greatest thing ever!

3. Reindeer Rendezvous

Did you know you can meet not only Santa, but also Santa’s Reindeer at Santa’s Village?! Head on over to the Reindeer Rendezvous where you can see (and even pet!) the most beautiful reindeer you’ve ever seen.

While this is certainly a favorite for the kids, it is my personal favorite at Santa’s Village. I’m a huge animal lover, and love the ability to be with these sweet animals. You can even feed them reindeer treats (available to purchase for $2)…but they’re happy to just let you pet them, too!

My sweet niece spent all of her time in the Reindeer Rendezvous visiting each of Santa’s Reindeer. My kids and nephew joined in on some “Reindeer Games” that are available to play free of charge in the barnyard.

4. Rudy’s Rapid Transit Coaster

It might be a small coaster, but it sure has a zip! It’s really a great coaster for first timers. Your kiddos will be asking to ride again and again — mine sure did!!

5. The Skyway Sleigh

Definitely a family favorite ride for all ages. The Skyway Sleigh is a monorail ride soaring 30 feet into the air. It’s the perfect ride to relax and take in the beautiful sites of Santa’s Village. My kids enjoyed trying to spot hidden elves below! Don’t forget to smile — towards the end of your sleigh ride a camera will snap your photo! You can purchase your photo afterwards. There are several options (including a snow globe and an ornament), that would make a memorable keepsake.

Above all, my personal favorite when visiting family destinations is making memories. Just living in the moment and being with those I love most. These are the moments they’ll (and you’ll!) always look back on, and smile. Santa’s Village is truly, “Pure Joy. Family Style.”

I hope you enjoyed our favorites at Santa’s Village. What would your family enjoy most?
