Moms don’t get sick days. That is the hard truth. It’s just something we’ve come to accept. It doesn’t matter how sick we are, we tirelessly push through. We have the most important job in the world…taking care of our children. And no matter what, we rise above whatever has us down, and do just that. Simply put, moms are superheroes…and we wouldn’t have it any other way. #Momlife. All day, everyday. So what do we do when we get sick? We fight. We need to take care of ourselves so we can be our very best selves for those we love most. Here are 5 easy ways to fight cold and flu symptoms the next time they hit. While some of these might seem like things you already do, others will help you “do sick differently.”

Maintain a Healthy Diet

Just like your mom always told you, eat your fruits and veggies! Fruits and vegetables are packed with vitamins and nutrients that naturally boost your immune system! When you’re sick, it’s equally important to nourish your body with healthy foods.

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

Drink that H2O! It’s amazing how drinking the right amount of water can make you feel a thousand times better. While it’s always important to stay hydrated, it’s even more so when you’re battling the cold and flu. Liquids are crucial, so drink up!

Get your Zzzz’s

Are you getting enough sleep at night? Not getting adequate rest can unfortunately effect your immune system. And when you’re sick, it’s even more important to get some rest. Sleep helps to aid your body in recovering. When I’m sick, I always feel better with cozy jammies, a soft blanket, curled up on my couch.

Keep Germs Away

While this might sound easier said than done, there are simple ways to keep germs away. Frequently wash your hands with warm, soapy water. Change your toothbrush after you’re sick. And always cover your sneeze and cough.

Theraflu PowerPods

Want to know how I’m “doing sick differently?” Let me introduce you to Theraflu PowerPods. Theraflu is presenting their new way to tackle cold and flu season and get fast relief, brewed instantly. That’s right. Theraflu PowerPods are compatible with most single-serve coffee machines (Keurig, Mr. Coffee, Hamilton Beach, Cusinart, iCoffee, Alcok, BELLA, Black + Decker, Aquverse, and CHULUX3). There is even a formula to ease nighttime symptoms.

Theraflu PowerPods

Theraflu PowerPods help to relieve your severe cold and flu symptoms including nasal congestion, sore throat, cough, headache, body aches, and fever. Theraflu PowerPods Nighttime also relieves runny nose and sneezing. Use as directed.

I found my Theraflu PowerPods conveniently at Walmart. I love how easy this product is to use. Simply “Press. Sip. Relief.” Moms might not get sick days, but Theraflu PowerPods have my back to provide me fast relief so I can be my very best self!
