Oh, hello! I apologize for my lack of posting lately. Just busy with life! It’s actually been super difficult carving out time for me to work since moving in with my parents. Lincoln is in school all day, but Avery is still home with me. He’s usually okay with playing on his own for awhile, but lately he’s wanted 24/7 mommy entertainment! I LOVE my little baby bug to pieces, but I also have deadlines to meet.
Anyways, I wanted to jump on for a fun Five on Friday — mainly to give you all an inside look at what we’ve been up to. Sooooo, let’s do it!

Two weekends ago, I went away for my soon-to-be sister in law’s bachelorette weekend! We visited a beautiful resort in New Hampshire. My best friend from childhood also came along, and it was so great to catch up….without kids!
While I was away, Jared had a full-on boys weekend with Lincoln and Avery. Saturday they had their first soccer game, which I really was disappointed to miss — but they had a great time.
And yes. Avery is wearing PLAID shorts. LOL! We have since purchased soccer shorts, but these just cracked me up! I’m looking forward to their game this weekend!
Jared also took them out for dinner. They had Mexican! Lincoln has recently become obsessed with Mexican food…mainly chips and salsa and quesadillas.
Seriously. Aren’t they just the cutest?! Lincoln said his strawberry lemonade tasted like a Hawaiian sunset. This boy is just too much!
Clearly my husband rocked his weekend with my littles on his own. I’m not sure who had more fun — although I’m guessing it was Daddy! He also did a great job sending me cute photos of the boys while I was away. I missed those little ones like crazy!

Lincoln is officially a big second grader! So far he is LOVING his new school — which makes me so incredibly happy! I also really like his teacher….which of course is great in itself! She sent me this photo the other day of Lincoln on his first day….seriously, look at that SMILE!!

Since moving back to Rhode Island, I’ve been able to take my kids to my favorite playground. The imPOSSIBLE Dream Playground. On Thursday nights they have food trucks, music, and the kids can play. It’s a lot of fun, and supports a great cause!

And of course you need an updated house photo! This was taken last week…we have a roof, and it’s almost completely shingled!!
I LOVE this photo my husband snapped. It captures a great angle. This is the back side of the house. You can see the walkout basement and the pool room is on the right side. It’s so fun watching it all come together!

I did something pretty exciting this week. I applied to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If you don’t know what the Moms Panel is, or you want to apply, you can click here for more info. I applied a few years ago, and didn’t make it to Round 2, but the process is still a great experience nonetheless! I figured now was as good of a time as any to take a shot at it again! I’ll keep you updated on the process!!
Have you ever applied for the Moms Panel? I’d love to hEAR your experiences!
Well, that’s all for this week. Tomorrow the boys have soccer, and Sunday we’re taking Lincoln to HASCON. It’s an event hosted by Hasbro, and he is over the moon excited to finally attend a media event with me!!
Cheers to the weekend!! xoxo
