The new school year is in full-swing! Looking for ways to make your life as a parent easier during this busy season? These tips are just what you need for back-to-school organization for moms! This is a sponsored post on behalf of Armitron. All opinions are my own. #OneWatchManyFaces
I’m having a hard time grasping the fact that I’m the mom of a big second grader this year! I mean, just look at my Lincoln. He is just SO BIG!! This year is filled with changes for us as a family, but especially for Lincoln. While our house is being built, we are currently living with my parents. We’re doing this primarily so Lincoln could start off the year in his new school! Changes can be hard on kids, and I really want to make this transition as easy as possible for him.
Right now being confined to a small space for our little family of four is hard…but we’re making the very best of it! It’s also super important for me to be as organized as I possibly can — especially during the school year! Now that we’re back in the daily school routine, our lives are (of course) busier and crazier than ever! Other than school, there’s soccer practice, doctors appointments, playdates — OH, and we’re building a house, so there’s everything that goes along with that…not to mention anything else that comes our way! Here are a few tips on how I stay organized during the school year.
Back-To-School Organization For Moms
There are many, MANY things that help keep me organized during the school year. Some simple things are getting Lincoln’s clothes and lunch ready the night before. I have his backpack ready to GO! This makes the morning way less stressful for not only me, but for Lincoln as well. Now I can enjoy my morning with him, eating breakfast, and chatting about his upcoming day.
There are also 3 essential items that make my life as a mom a whole heck of a lot easier, and keep me more organized.
Coffee
You may think I’m crazy for putting coffee as an organization tip, but I think if you’re a mom you’ll understand! My morning cup of happiness gets me going in the morning! It fuels me!!! Of course I also eat a healthy(ish) breakfast, but coffee is seriously my lifeline in the morning! It gets my hustle going — and KEEPS it going!! Also, I swear drinking it from a Disney mug makes it that much better!!
My Planner
I am a traditional paper planner girl. There’s just something about writing it all down that makes it more effective. My planner is my family’s lifeline. It really has EVERYTHING in there — appointments, practices, special events, blog post due dates, vacations…EVERYTHING!! I will also jot down things I need to remember in the “notes” section. Whether it be a blog post idea, or something funny one of my kids said…my planner has it all!!
A Watch
I used to ALWAYS wear a watch, and then with the ease of cell phones, I stopped. Recently, I started to wear one again, and I just love it so much. Not only is it a classic fashion piece (umm hello Rose Gold!), but it keeps me organized and on track!!
What I love most about this watch from Armitron, is it can either be dressed up or down – which is perfect for all moms! I have a really tiny wrist, so I wanted something that would be delicate enough and not too clunky. This Armitron Blush Ceramic Watch with Diamond Accent literally called my name when I first saw it! It is seriously my new go-to, must-have accessory — and it’s so functional!! Having a watch on my wrist keeps me organized and on task…and I’m always on time!! As a mom, it makes my life SO much easier!!
Armitron has many different versatile styles of watches; from casual, dress, sport, and men’s styles. Also? They’re super affordable!! Head over to armitron.com to find the perfect style for you!
As a mom, busier than ever, I seriously need all of the organizational help I can get! These items allow me to be the very best mom I can be!

You hit the nail on the head here. Coffee, planner, excellent watch. In that order! LOL I love the watch you featured. It’s super cute.

That watch is really quite nice! Love the fact that the color can go with just about anything – evening or daytime!

I like to write things out on paper as well. I have a school supply tote in my spare room. I collect supplies at the end of the school year when they are all on clearance.

These are some great things to help us keep up as well as the kids! That watch looks so beautiful.

You get bonus points from me for placing coffee as number one on your organization list. I’m all over that one every single morning. I like to keep a daily planner also as it keeps me going to the right places at the right time.

I remember my first watch as a kid. It was actually an Armitron too! Crazy that, that was already 25 years ago!

I need all the help I can get. Trying to manage twin daughters in middle school just might put me over the edge. Thankfully there are great tools to help me out.

A watch for back-to-school is actually a really great idea. You think you’ll always just look at your phone, but what if the battery is dead or you left it in your locker or bag? A watch is always on your wrist to keep you on track.

No kids in our house- but my mom always had a binder with everything organized- and a huge dry erase calendar!
