First you sign up for your first fix.
Then you fill out your style profile. This helps the stylists select clothing that they think will suit you. Don’t rush through this process! Take your time so your stylist can really get to know your style!
Your stylist then chooses 5 items based on your profile.
You choose your price range.
The items are sent to your home (no shipping fees), and you then try them on. Keep what you like, send back (in the included pre-paid postage envelope) what you don’t want.
There is a $20 styling fee, however this can be used to purchase any of the items you are sent!
If you decide to keep all 5 items, you receive a 25% discount.
You then give feedback on your fix. It’s extremely important to be very detailed for your futures fixes!
If you know me, you know I love all things gray. It’s true. If you were to look into my closet, there would be quite an abundance of gray things. In fact, I even have it in my style profile that I love gray! However, while I did like this shirt, I already have something just like it in my closet. So while it was a good pick, it’s going back.
Betcha can’t tell what I think of this shirt by the photo. Honestly when I first saw this in my box, my initial reaction was, “What was my stylist thinking?!” In the note she left she said she included some “boho” items. I had to double check my profile to see if I accidentally selected I like the boho style, but it wasn’t selected. I don’t know if this was an oversight or what, but this is just not me.
While this is typically not something I would choose for myself, I did like the colors. However, the fit did nothing for my figure. It looks way too boxy on my frame.
I actually requested this item to be in my fix. So, I was thrilled when I saw I got my wish! I think it will look nicer with a fitted white tee, rather than my black pajama top — whoops!
And just like the maxi skirt I kept last month…because I’m so short…
|I don’t know why it looks like I have a really weird tan line on my arm here. Weird lighting!|
I think I need to change my profile to say “no bottoms.” These were supposed to be Bermuda shorts, BUT because I’m so incredibly short, they were at the weirdest length ever. I also hardly ever wear shorts or short skirts because I wear braces on the lower half of my legs. So these did really nothing for me. Boo. I did like the color, though…and if they were pants, maybe I would have kept them.
So there you have it. My second fix. What did you think of my box this month? What would you have kept?
Although I’m only keeping one item this month, I still consider this fix a success! However, in the future I hope my stylist looks at my profile and pinterest board a bit more closely…although she specifically said she did. Hmmm.
