I’m a busy stay at home mom of two boys. Mornings can sometimes be a hectic time. Lincoln needs to eat breakfast, brush his teeth and get dressed. Avery needs a diaper change, bottle, some oatmeal or fruit, another diaper change, and a change of clothes. I need to make sure Lincoln’s backpack is ready for school. Sometimes I need to write a quick note to his teacher. It’s often hard to even remember to take care of myself! I have a secret, though. Life Choice Protein Bars paired with a delicious breakfast smoothie!
Lately, this has been my go-to breakfast on busy mornings….and sometimes even my not so busy mornings (like that ever happens, hah!). These tasty protein bars really pack a powerful punch, and give me lots of energy to keep up with my boys. They’re loaded with 21 grams of protein and 18 vitamins and minerals. Paired with a breakfast smoothie, this is a super nutritious start to my day!
You can easily make this your go-to breakfast. It’s super simple. To make a delicious smoothie, here’s what you need:
— one banana
— one cup of frozen berries (frozen is the keyword here)
— a couple heaping scoops of Greek yogurt
— almond milk to your desired consistency
I throw all these ingredients into the blender, and then serve!
It’s so incredibly easy, and a great nutritious breakfast, especially when you also have a protein bar! I purchase my Life Choice Bars at Walmart. They’re sold exclusively there!
They’re conveniently sold in the aisle with the cereal bars. There are a few flavors to choose from, but I’m pretty partial to the yummy peanut butter for breakfast!
