Ready for some family fun this summer? Well, of course you are! Lake Compounce, located in Bristol, Connecticut, is the perfect family theme park, whether you’re near or far! Did you know Lake Compounce is the oldest amusement park in the country? How cool is that?! Although it is the oldest, its updates are definitely not lacking! There’s always something new at Lake Compounce!
This year there are many exciting new things happening. The first ever Pink’s Hollywood Hot Dogs on the east coast, Bear Creek Campground with cabins, RV and tent sites, and even tipis!
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through August 24th, a laser light show, ‘Illuminate the Night,’ will light up the sky! A 50-foot water wall will veil across the lake with simultaneous synchronized music, projections and lasers.
Crocodile Cove water park has also added five additional cabanas! I don’t know about you, but I love when there is a water park at an amusement park. We usually like to take a mid-day break to cool off and relax a bit. It’s the perfect way to get more energy to go on some more rides later on!
