It’s no joke I’ve been through a bit much lately. However, I would like to reflect on all the things I have to be thankful for this year.
First and foremost, my Dad received his liver transplant. He’s 8 months post surgery, and doing great. As much of a rollercoaster ride it’s been, I’m so thankful for the outcome, and to have my Dad back.
I am so thankful my aunt met a great man, who makes her happy. She has been through her share of struggles for many years, including a bout with cancer. It was so amazing to celebrate her wedding day.
I am thankful that my BFF gave birth to her two beautiful twin boys in September. Jacob & Joshua. Two perfect little miracles. She certainly waited a long time for her sons, and I’m so happy they are finally here!
Despite the recent events of my pregnancy. I am thankful I have a doctor who is compassionate and treats his patients in a way that makes them feel like they’re “more than just patients.” He wasn’t too quick to give up, until there was really nothing else left to hope for. I am thankful to be in his care, and look forward to going through my next pregnancy with him.
I am thankful for the loving support my parents and brother give to me on a daily basis. Living 2 1/2 hours away from them is hard, but we make it work, and we’re always there for each other.
My husband. He has held my hand and been by my side through so much this past year. I don’t know where I would be without his love.
And finally, my sweet boy Lincoln. My son. My heart. I am so thankful to be his Momma.
I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for this year?
