…and I couldn’t be more proud!
Jared’s graduation was absolutely perfect. The ceremony was very impressive, and my officer, was impeccable….and quite dashingly handsome, if I do say so myself ๐
Lincoln was seriously the most well-behaved baby on the planet. He sat behind me, with my Mom and brother throughout the ceremony. His Uncle [my brother] is like one of his favorite people in the world, so I thought it would be a great distraction to have him sit with him. I loaded his diaper bag up with his favorite snacks…and he was the happiest little man! He honestly didn’t fuss once. He did let out some squeals and some “hi’s” and my favorite was when he started chanting “yeah, yeah yeah!” …very loudly ๐ But in all honesty, I was so proud of my sweet boy!!!
Now, on with the picture overload. I apologize for the crappy quality in the pictures, the lighting was terrible!
First of all, we had reserved seating…seriously, how freakin’ awesome is that?! Here is Jared marching in. He’s second in line…
Here is the 330th graduating class of the Connecticut Police Academy
Here is Lincoln enjoying his snacks with his Uncle & Grammy [my brother & mom].
Jared was a Seargeant during his time at the Police Academy. Here he is reading the names of the officer’s in his squad, while they received their badges.
Here is Jared receiving his badge from his father. His Dad was able to pin his badge onto him, because he was in the Navy. I think this is a nice personal touch.
He’s been sworn in since August, but here he is [in the middle] getting sworn in [again] for the ceremony.
Lincoln did not recognize his Daddy with his hat on! Once Jared took his hat off, Lincoln jumped into his arms. He was quite impressed with his Daddy’s shiny badge ๐
And, unfortunately, this is the only family shot we got. Lincoln was so over it at this point…but hey, at least he was an angel during the ceremony!
And my husband, being the goof that he is, totally pulled the handcuffs out in this picture…look closely!!
It was such a beautiful, memorable night. I was able Lincoln was able to be part of it, even though he won’t remember it.
I am so proud of Jared, and so proud to be the wife of a police officer. I truly married an amazing man ๐
